About this event
On Monday, January 20, 2025, we honor the memory of the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a prominent leader in the American civil rights movement. We are encouraged to use the day to reflect on the principles of racial equality and nonviolent social change espoused by Dr. King.
Last year members of our League attended the MLK Breakfast sponsored by the Village of Hoffman Estates and Cultural Awareness Commission. We found the keynote speakers and choir to be quite inspirational and a source of thoughtful reflection. This year we will attend again.
If you are interested in joining us, please register by January 10 to reserve a seat at our table (scroll down and click on "Register Now"). Registration is required as seating is limited and breakfast is provided. There is no fee to participate.
