About the book: Nearly seventy years after its original publication, Ray Bradbury’s internationally acclaimed novel Fahrenheit 451 stands as a classic of world literature set in a bleak, dystopian future. Today its message has grown more relevant than ever before.
Attendees are asked to identify a banned or challenged book title to share with the discussion group.
Optional post-discussion lunch: For those who are interested, a lunch will be held at Emmett's Brewing Company after the discussion.
LWVPA Book Club meetings are focused and engaging discussions of fiction and nonfiction books about current social and political issues. Our facilitators select the books and lead the discussion.
