About this event

Vision and Voice: LWVPA Program Planning Meeting
Saturday, January 31, 2026
1:00 - 3:00 PM
Schaumburg Township District Library (STDL)  Rasmussen Room 2nd Floor

130 S. Roselle Rd., Schaumburg, IL 60193

Program is the policy platform under which a League can operate over the year to advance its mission and policy objectives.  Developing a Program involves soliciting input on issues of importance to our members and the community in which they reside.

An emailed letter will be sent to you explaining the process for developing a Program and requesting that you review our LWVPA Local Positions and submit your suggestions as to the Local Priorities for your communities.

At the Program Meeting we will vote on Local Priorities that will be our focus for 2026-28 and determine Recommended Actions we can take to support those priorities.

What is your Vision for our League? Join us for this important meeting and have your Voice heard. It is a great way to start the New Year and energize yourself,  together with your fellow League members.

For those who are interested, we are reserving a table for lunch at Lou Malnati's Pizzeria at 1 S. Roselle Rd., 11:00 AM, prior to the Program Meeting. Please reply on the registration form if you intend to join us. Separate checks are available.
